Time for our annual camping/vacation with our good friends The Meurers. We were especially excited this year because it was going to be one of the longer trips and we get to use our trailer that we love so much.
The boys patiently waiting for Mom to finish packing up the kitchen stuff.
We had to go super high up the trail but we found a nice private spot to call home for a few days.
Roan was so excited that he was bouncing off the walls. So we made him take a nap.
The only other guests we had were a herd of sheep that acted annoyed we were in their spot. LOL
It rained the second day so we spent most of the time playing in the trailer. Eventually we watched a movie to help everyone from going crazy with cabin fever.
We did a lot of hiking and cooking and enjoyed watching the youngest kids play so well together.
Then we went down to Strawberry Reservoir
Emily and Roan were super adorable together. They played nonstop.
This pic is my favorite. If they ever get married I will make a large copy of it for their wedding.
Sunday we had other friends over and grilled up some yummy food.
Nelia is such an amazing cook. Her salsa is to die for. I made her make 3 batches before they went home.
Monday we explored downtown, toured the Conference Center, and the Mrs Cavanaughs Chocolate Factory.
Got to love quality time with friends
Per every years tradition someone left a hat or article of clothing at our house LOL
We loved having our good friends come play and we cannot wait until next years adventure. :)
Hahaha, I lI've the pic of Roan inept of Emily and he seems to be shaking his boody at her!
ReplyDeleteMiss and love you all!!
What a great trip! I really want to go on a trip with Chris and the kids, but it hasn't happened yet. I'm going to push for next summer.
