Soaking in the Fall

I love the fall. Usually in Utah the falls are short lived because it gets cold so fast after summer. Sometimes we get really wet falls too. This year the fall has been very warm so we have been playing outside a lot. It is awesome and so enjoyable to soak in the beauty of fall.

Here are some of the fun stuff we did!

We winterized the lawn by doing a final mow lawn.

We took our biggest family hike yet. Silver Lake in American Fork Canyon. It was huge and we didn't reach the final destination. It was a really hard hike with a steep elevation and about 9 miles round trip. We did about 6 miles. It was still so beautiful and fun. We will try next year with a little more preparation.

That is the lake up there. There is a waterfall. So close yet so far

Liv took a snooze part way through the hike

In the end we went out for burgers and shakes.

We went to a corn maze with our friends The Mitchell's
I got some girl time with Liv in Park City. We went there to meet up for an overnight trip with my old dear friend Rachel. :)

Liv and I went on a hike through the town.

We picked up our pumpkins for Halloween
Liv wouldn't put hers down. She has a lot of mother instincts for babies and things smaller than her.

We raked up the leaves in our yard. I love seeing how they each jump in the pile.
This was such a fun day.

We cleaned up and had bath time cuddles. :)
I love the Fall!!!!
