BARLOWSTARS 2022

Liv learned to tie her shoes this year!!! She is our social butterfly and so friendly with all her school pals and loves to share the happenings from her life around the dinner table every night. One day, she will get done eating before dinner is over, until then, we are loving her enthusiasm. She is still doing dance and tried soccer this year. She still loves ponies, horses, puppies, and kitties but has recently become an encyclopedia for all things tigers!!!

 

Roan played soccer and is still enjoying the clarinet. We think it is outrageous how tall, Tall, TALL he is!!! At the rate he is going, by next year, he will be taller than his mother. He loves learning how to play new video games, reading, sharing what he read, and creating courses with his Lego Mario sets. He is a huge tease and is working to master his comedic abilities through jokes and pranks around the house.

 

Stephanie reached a HUGE goal in her life by completing her first open water Olympic distance triathlon. It was the Spudman Triathlon in Burley, ID and it was amazing!!! She is already signed up for a 2023 race. She and Lars enjoyed various trips with just the two of them. She also got to have an epic girl’s trip reunion with some old friends in St George, UT.   

 

Lars got a fun electric scooter!!! He loves taking rides everywhere and Stephanie loves keeping up on her bike with him. He also has been making good use of his 3D printer. He took Roan pheasant hunting this year for the first time and they both loved it.

 

As a family we have enjoyed various camping trips and ride adventures on our UTV that we lovingly named the “The Grin Machine.”  We explored Dinosaur Land in Vernal in the spring and over the summer ventured to many local activities.

 

We are grateful for all we lived and learned this year. Thanks for being in our lives. Keep smiling through the adventurous ride life takes you.
