Mother's Day Yo!

My beautiful Mother with her flowers!

 Gifts from my kids...

I LOVE being these kids Mom. I know I am gifted with the knowledge and peace to raise them. I second guess myself sometimes but I am learning to trust my motherly instincts.

I have a good example right in front of me.

Concerts-The Interrupters & MercyMe (April)

I went to two concerts in April.
Lars and I went to see The Interrupters. It was amazing. The singer has a raspy alto voice that so so stunning and fitting with the punk ska ness of it. :) I loved being with Lars there. Took me back to our prekid days when we would go to various concerts. I did get hit on while there too. LOL

My sister and I went to the MercyMe concert. I LOVED it so much. The songs, the voice, the lyrics all of it was powerful.

I got to meet Calee Reed, an LDS artist. She was just there to see the concert but I recognized her then geeked out on her. She was so nice.
I loved being there with my sister and sharing in the spirit there.

For Valentines Day we had a spa night. It was fun and hilarious. The kids were so giggly.

I had a rough go at life on an off during the winter (no real reason exactly, just depression here and there and the usual frustrations from life/work). SO I bought flowers often to perk up my heart and house.

First sucessful braiding with Liv.
We were all sick on and off for months. It sucked.
Liv and her dress that she said she wants to dance in.
Roan and his fun hair
My friend Thia came to visit with her amazing family for a few hours.

Good times this winter even with the blahs. Glad spring is finally here.
