Roan 6th Birthday

I have a 6 year old boy!!!!

And since then the number 6 is is Roan's favorite number. 

Roan is 

62 lbs

51 inches tall

He is very big for his age but is super healthy. We love him so much! He is such a sweet boy and very in tune with his emotions and others and looking for ways to help others. I am amazed at how he just gets things done. The other day he had 3 bags of different chips. He wanted to share the 3 bags among the family so he laid out 4 napkins and divided up the chips equally. He did all this without me knowing while I was working in the other room. Roan is a big kid now and becoming very independent. I am so grateful to have him in our family. 

We took the day off of work and school and celebrated! He had a doctors appointment, then we went to see Ferdinand, then to Bruce @ Smiths to get a birthday treat. That evening we let him choose dinner, he chose Carl's Jr.  

We also had his first ever friend BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

It was a blast. We spent a lot of time planning and executing and it was a huge success for my first real friend birthday party! We have done family parties in the past but this was an expansion on that. 

All the grandparents came and some cousins and some friends. 

The adults really got into it.

We had the party in the church gym and I divided it into the following sections, food (safe zone), battleground, and target practice.

Oh and it snowed on his birthday party da!!!!

Roan also lost his first tooth! What a great birthday!!!!
