Easter Celebrations

I love the spring time. My goal this year has been to have fun celebrating all the big and little things with the kids. The week before Easter we played at Grandma Barlow's house.

We decorated eggs with the kids. 

We went to an Easter egg hunt at Grandpa Barlow's nursing home. 

The kids had so much fun finding egg and then playing games. 

The weather was so perfect we played outside and had a beautiful photo shoot.

Easter morning the kids got a cute basket with some fun activity toys, a Worlds Finest Chocolate Bunny (my fav), and these darling new Sunday cloths from Grandma and Grandpa Stark. 

I was smart to take pics before church even though we were running late. Within minutes of arriving the headband and necklace were gonners. 

For Easter dinner we had Grandma and Grandpa Madsen over along with Grandma Barlow. The spread was delicious and so amazing!!

 Oh my gosh I love eating through my holidays. The kids were cute, the family was fun, and we are so grateful to celebrate our Savior. :)

Allison Baby Shower

I helped host a darling baby shower for our friend Allison. She is having a girl!!!

It was open house style so everyone came and went as they pleased. 

Oh my gosh this spread was soooooooo goooooodddd!!

My friend Brianna did the decorations. She is a pro!!

I had to get one with the kids keeping themselves entertained.

Relief Society 175th Birthday

We celebrated the Relief Society 175th Birthday for our Enrichment activity in March

 It was lots of fun. We got a lovely message from one of the sister in our ward. Ate a delicious lasagna dinner, and then played Relief Society Jeopardy. My friend, Brianna did the decorations. They are beautiful,

I am so glad I am apart of an inspired, strong, and service driven group. Being involved in Relief Society has helped me continue to grown my testimony. Not to mention I love gleaning knowledge and support from women from all types of life experiences.

Birthday Season

Roan and I share a birthday month. Needless to day the entire month is a full of lots of fun that we spread out so we don't feel overwhelmed. That's the idea anyway. 

 For Roan's birthday we went to our local Smiths so they could sing to him. 

 He got Star Wars shirts to match his cool friend Dane. :)

 As a family went to Chick-fil-A and they treated us right. 

 Roan got a really neat fire truck remote control car

 Then we took him bowling with some of his grandparents

 He really wanted a trophy on his chocolate cake

 He was so tired by the end of it all

 Playing with his new play dough set

 For my birthday I went snow shoeing

 Then Lars took me to the Roof Restaurant in the JSMB. It was delicious and so so wonderful.

All in all birthday season was wonderful. 

 Now here is a cute pic of Liv decorating her stuffed toys.

 Oh and another fun thing for the month. I won a box of goodies from Bruce and then a few days later I won an entry into an 80s lipsync contest. 

 Life can be pretty cool
