Last Friday I spoiled myself and decided to try a comparison on a few different places and their quesadilla's.
I started my morning with Taco Bell and their breakfast, Johnsonville sausage and egg wrap. I expected it to be more hearty like their crunch wrap supreme. It was smaller but still delicious. I think I am going to make my own and add hash browns to it. I am a firm believer that Taco Bell's crunch wrap supreme is the best thing ever so I almost always get that. I also started making them at home too. :)
For lunch I tried all 3 of El Pollo Loco's Stuffed Quesadilla's. I did not eat all 3 in one sitting. I had about half of two and a few bites of the third.
I loved this one but by day 2 the bacon was over powering.
The Chicken Avocado Quesadilla looks like it comes with fire-grilled chicken, jack cheese, chunks of avocado, and pico de gallo.
The lady at the drive thru said this one was the most popular. On Day 1 it was good but Day 2 was even better.
The Barbecue Chicken appears to have barbecue sauce, fire-grilled chicken, jack and cheddar cheese, corn, black beans, and pico de gallo.
This was good, I prefer an actual BBQ chicken salad. Day 2 this was gross.
I don't mind El Pollo Loco but their chicken taste pretty greasy after a while.
Taco Bell wins the round with their wrap quesadilla like breakfast and their crunch wrap supreme.
What do you think and what comparison do you recommend I do next?
Now I'm hungry
ReplyDeleteCafe Rio's kids quesadilla is pretty boring with just a tortilla and lots of cheese, but if you tell them its for your son they will give it to you for free :) And the word free definitely makes it taste better.
ReplyDeleteI agree. The crunch wrap is good. Now I think I need to go get me one.
